So once no one has jobs, and we all continue to scoff at universal basic income (because we’re fucking stupidly easy to manipulate into agreeing that things in our own best interest are bad) no one will have money to ride in these stupid cabs. So where do all these businesses scrambling to make human labor obsolete

The problem here was a loose nut behind the wheel.

“-hit the brakes like a rookie[. If] he would have gotten on the gas he could have saved it.”

You’re thinking of the temperature control dial, not the dials/buttons that control which processes are in use. I’ve never seen a (modern) car that doesn’t default to the AC ON when you turn on the system. In my Honda I have to push a button to turn the AC off once the system is on. And it does not matter whether I

Oh wow, that 100%. I was skeptical until that last shot which is basically 1:1.

Some part of me is irrationally offended when people abuse mechanical objects like this. Maybe I anthropomorphize too much, or maybe I just don’t find much joy in destruction. I think it’s mostly the former, though—part of my brain is sad for the little car that just wants to work and didn’t do anything to deserve

The heater isn’t creating moisture. Anyway, this is how the defrost setting works on most cars.

I would just have someone (or yourself) check to make sure the condensate drain isn’t clogged. The reason to turn on the AC is that it dehumidifies the air, by condensing out moisture. If that water is sitting in with the AC coil because the drain was clogged, the air passing through could actually pick up moisture.

It does work. I always keep a water blade in the car because it’s better than a towel when you stop by the car wash and those dryers don’t quite get everything. The water blade is awesome!

So much wrong here. A shocking amount, really.

How much are you willing to pay for a car?

You didn’t have to wait long, did you?

Just waiting for the Teslaphiles to jump in and say that the Semi’s imaginary 600-mile range crushes the Volvo’s real 150 miles.

Now playing

There have been a fair number of horror stories about their stuff.

I don’t watch this guy’s videos, but this came up on my google to find stuff and seems roughly representative:

I believe that is a piece of red electrical tape. it definitely does not look centered or squarely applied.

I actually run a K-car page on FB. I’ve had way more K-cars than anyone should have had in a single lifetime. This car is $2500 at best. Maybe $3500 could be wrested from some poor soul, but this is a $2500 Reliant.

ND ..AF These cars were built to be disposable, and at that, after 5 years. I owned an 82 Aries wagon and it fit that description perfectly.

Lol a GM CEO acting in the company's best interest isn't a horror, it's a surprise!
