And this particular person, assuming they traditionally couldn’t afford a lawyer, could have paid that lawyer in cocaine. Win-win.

Or are you saying that only white people are honest?

No mention of what crimes this person was being pursued for. Murder? Arson? Rape? Jay-walking? What?

Exactly! Good luck to the buyer getting an insurance company to agree with him on what it’s worth.

Well, you got my race wrong, for starters.

I never said your experiences are invalidated by my beliefs, but if that’s your takeaway, well...

I always felt like this was a way for nefarious people to “buy” a VIN. Essentially you buy this car, sit it in a garage and steal an analog of it, swap in your clean (albeit “salvage titled”) VIN and you’ve got your dream car free and clear.

I had a coworker start ranting about “rewriting history” when when a city announced they’d take a different monument down if protesters would stop trying to do it themselves. And then actually made good on that promise. I forget where, but it was commendable in the sense that they did it, I guess. I mean, if you can

Because White Supremacists have made it abundantly clear that extreme violence is the only language they understand, and the only white people out smashing things right now are White Supremacists. Why would I think that? Because the only reason a white person has for being out smashing things right now is because

Oh it’s very clear what’s going on; the cop’s frustration turns immediately into threats of violence because that’s all the coping skills he’s been taught and ever expected to exhibit in the past.

These are exactly the reasons so many people are okay with the government stepping in and making manufacturers come up with a standard. Personally I’m still on the fence, but I certainly see the benefit to it.

So I’m assuming by “never should have stopped” you mean he should have risked killing some of those people who weren’t attacking him until after he endangered them, and wouldn’t have attacked him if he’d simply followed the law?

I love how she’s so scared that she stays right there in the vicinity of the perceived threat to her safety...for over half an hour.

I’m really not looking forward to seeing these in North America where our plates are tiny and will look even more ridiculous on the front of that thing.
