That was my thought as well, there’s so much room under buses you could probably fit 4 standard Tesla battery packs without any issue, so if you needed a long range bus it’d still be possible. Make the undersides capable of accepting the batteries modularly, that way extra packs could be on hand to be added as needed.

I’d argue that all those nannies make the MB shittier and all putting the glowing star on there does is re-smear the shit back onto the your MB.

She effectively ruled out all CUVs by saying “doesn’t suck”, though...

They the headline says “doesn’t suck”.

First, the phone needs to act as your key fob, as in you just have the phone on your person and touch the door handle to unlock/lock, step inside and press the start button without having to pull out your phone. Simple as that. NFC can make this reality, manufacturers just need to pull their heads out of their asses.

1st Gear: Absolute lip service. Both of them know if they were serious they’d be immediately removed from their positions.

Call your ISP first and ask, this looks like they’re already giving you a promotion for a free modem. Also ask if that promotion is limited and will expire.

Against what?  Your inability to articulate yours?

We’ve already got Zipcar for that and I see what you’re saying since it has single-handedly reshaped the way we all think about car ownership within the United States. /S

Would it matter?  Do you frequent those providers?  I know I don’t.  Maybe they’re in business because they’re cheaper than everyone else and even though it’s crap, the people who need/want that can’t afford better than crap?  It’s weird how economies work, isn’t it?

Is that the best strawman you could come up with?

Because you’d buy your car without batteries (technically) then get batteries once you signed up for the swap service from the swap service provider.  Providers that doled out 4yo heaps with bad cells wouldn’t last long.  Problem fucking solved.

Many years ago I drove a Ford Granada that was itself old enough to get a license at the time. It ran on bias ply tires, had leaf spring suspension, drum brakes, and a solid rear axle. To put it mildly it did not understand the concept of “handling”. That didn’t stop ~17yo me from driving it like I stole it, though.

Hands down the Nissan Versa. FUCK THAT CAR! It was the worst thing I’ve ever driven and I’ve driven a 1979 Ford Granada!

Thank you, but I wouldn’t say world’s greatest, just above average.

Neutral: I don’t have a connected car, but I drive on street with a bunch of you who do. And considering you all drive around with your fucking heads up your asses already, I am not concerned about your car being hacked since I probably wouldn’t even notice a change in your tom-fuckery should it happen anyway.

Nitrous is engine spice.

Hyperbole isn’t your strong suit. Also, those other countries don’t have a 2nd Amendment, either. Getting past the 2nd Amendment is the only way it’s going to happen. Good fucking luck with that.

The problem with NVMe M.2 drives is that motherboard manufacturers aren’t jumping on board as fast as consumers. You have to search for a board that has more than 1 M.2 slot, ensure it’s keyed correctly and that one or more of them isn’t SATA only.  And only the largest MBs come with more than one that I am aware of.

There seems to be more to it than “There’s no need to worry about other standards if you choose to abide my the strictest” but what that “more” is isn’t obvious.
