Now that millennials are beginning to enter middle age I think a lot of the current “cancel culture” debate comes down to the fact that we were all raised on South Park/Family Guy-style humor, but while most of us outgrew it, some of us never did, and are angry over the fact that their “ironically” offensive jokes

It’s weird how hack creators treat edgy humour as something easy/lazy, when it’s actually incredibly difficult to get right. It’s like some kinda comedy equivalent to Dunning Kreuger.

So what you’re saying is, we can put 100% of the blame on you for bringing Family Guy back?

American Dad is and always will be the far, far superior show in every way. Honestly, it has only gotten better since moving to TBS.

What’s funny is I was one of those guys who signed an online petition in hopes of bringing Family Guy back when it was cancelled but when it did eventually return, I checked out after about 2 more seasons.

Cool. On those nights I toss on Cartoon Network to help me fall asleep, this fucking show won’t be in the rotation.

Unless they’re leaving for hell, and never to come back, I don’t give a damn.

I’m surprised to learn there’s anyone who likes Bob’s Burgers but not the songs.

I actually own a “Tina is my Spirit Animal” t-shirt. I wish I could claim Louise was my spirit animal, but I know myself better than that.

It will be pre-empted for a football movie

If I remember correctly, for the movie they brought back some of the writers from the first decade who had been off the show for a while, like some people had gone over to Futurama and then didn’t go back to working on The Simpsons, so that’s why it had a more classic feel.

I think the show is past its peak, but its still consistently entertaining with a few great eps every season. Here’s hoping working on the movie brings out the best in them. I haven’t re-watched The Simpsons Movie in a long time, but I remember when it was released it definitely felt stronger than the show had been

“Angelina Jolie sits at a desk, back straight as a rule and rather regal. Her features are cartoonishly beautiful – straight black hair, vertiginous cheekbones, huge blue eyes and lips like a plumped red sofa.”

And Dave from Save-a-Lot/

It’s worth noting that “SAG-AFTRA” is an anagram for “Fart Saga”.

I’m sure NBC would love to reboot The Office. Or Friends.

Out of context it’s pretty unremarkable, but “Don’t be silly” at the end of Barton Fink is a real kick to the gut every time for me.

Forget it, ArgentoKaos, it’s ForgetChinatownTown.

my very not analytical, basic take on this episode is that it was very sweet and wonderful to see the team come together
