I agree. I watch Twin Peaks first on Sunday nights, then GoT (because TP is always what I'm more excited for), and GoT just seems so ORDINARY in comparison. Don't get me wrong, I like GoT. it's one of the most entertaining shows on TV, and last night's episode was awesome, but it's got nothing on the Twin Peaks

Seems unlikely. Did Richard know Mr. C was coming? Or who he is? Or that he even exists? Even if he's Mr. C's son, as some theorize (I'm highly skeptical), there's been no indication that Richard would know anything about him.

James' appearance on the Roadhouse stage was like the punchline to a 25-year-long shaggy dog joke. It was hilarious. I was like, "I can't believe Lynch is really doing this to us, but somehow it's kind of awesome."

I'm just glad people are no longer saying "the real Cooper is starting to emerge," like they did after almost every episode for a while. Since his return to the real world, there have been fleeting moments of lucidity in which we briefly see hints of the old Cooper's personality flickering in "Dougie's" eyes. They're

True, except that dude wasn't "worse" than Evil Cooper. He was just some low-level gang leader, probably pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, facing off against pure evil incarnate in human form. And yet, we still rooted for Evil Cooper.

I'm not a huge fan of the weekly musical numbers. I don't hate them, but I don't love them. I tend to kind of tune out when they cut to the Roadhouse, and just semi-pay-attention in case something important happens while the band is playing.

I completely agree, and I'd actually be disappointed if The Return wraps everything up nice and neat with a little bow on it. A bit of frustrating ambiguity is part of what makes Twin Peaks what it is.

I like the idea that she's neither — she was delivering a coded message, like Lil the Dancer in FWWM. Although that makes it a little creepy that Gordon was cuddling with her in his hotel room.

Twin Peaks barely makes sense if you HAVE watched every episode from the beginning. It would be utterly incomprehensible if you haven't. Completely valid defense.

Agreed. It was Lynchian comedy at its best, and the highlight of the episode.

Yeah, I've seen people elsewhere in this discussion object to the use of the word "trolling," so I'm going to avoid it in the future. That's fair enough. For the record, I didn't mean it as a bad thing. I really do kind of love it. But, I'm not convinced he's NOT deliberately trying to annoy people. I suspect he knew

It's fine to have different opinions about the show, but you expressed an opinion about people who have different opinions than you, and that makes you a troll. If you don't like it, fine. Go watch something you do like. Why come here and pretend to be a mindreader claiming to know what people posting views contrary

Or maybe people have, y'know, different opinions about stuff than you.

I suspect the reason for Jerry's scenes will become clear eventually.

Dany's off to a bad start in Westeros. One crippling loss at sea, and one short-lived "victory" that actually played right into her enemy's hands. She has defeated every foe she's ever faced, but she's never faced a foe like Cersei. And so far, she's losing. Badly.

No, I don't think Richard is Donna's son, because it seems pretty clear that Sylvia — not Eileen Hayward — is his biological grandmother. Also, even if Ben is Donna's biological father (still technically unconfirmed, if I remember correctly), it's almost certainly not common knowledge among the population of Twin

I noticed the word "Albatross," but I assumed it was just the brand name and didn't think anything of it.

That was not his foot.

Interesting observation, and if she was there to deliver a coded message like Lil the Dancer, then what was the message?

Interesting. I know it's been established that The Return happens in 2014, but do we know when the dossier was compiled and annotated, in-universe? I don't recall ever seeing a reference to it.
