I’m not surprised at all... these are deeply, deeply frustrated little men who are getting off on their taste of power, and let’s face it, these are fratboys at heart. No shock that they indulge in hideous fratboy games. It’s pretty much the culture I expected...

It’s also a great way of stripping newcomers of any feeling of power in their situation. So then when the instigators are abusing travellers, the newcomers at the very least won’t speak up. Or at the worst will join in to regain some feeling of power.

I just hope that Mitch McConnell sticks to his principles and doesn’t hold any hearings, because we all know that he believes the Senate shouldn’t approve any appointments made in the last year of a president’s term...

I def think there are more interesting angles than what we know. It’s rumored that Pence was in the room when Trump essentially ordered his minions to write out the recommendations for firing Comey, so he may be accountable on obstruction as well.

Fortunately for our democracy, there are checks and balances that keep the President honest. Russian checks and Cayman Island balance sheets.
