That would be nice if it were equal opportunity, but I suspect this is like the slut/stud dichotomy.

As an American, I think I won’t be going anywhere either. Mostly because I’m not sure I could get back in.

These fuckers don’t know Christianity.

As a Canadian, I won’t be going to the U.S. until Trump is out of office. I resent the fact that innocent people are being denied entry based solely on their skin colour. My co-workers friend was denied entry because she was brown skinned - her religion, Sikh, is not even remotely close to muslim. I have a feeling

Whenever the exchange rate has been good, Canadians are a significant customer base at our malls in Michigan (particularly in Detroit). This is going to hit us hard...and it should.

This is silly. All they’ll have to do is turn over their phones and passwords, explain their political views, show all of their social media posts and follows, answer questions about their religion, win two out of three games of speed chess, describe Joni Mitchell’s hometown, and sit in a windowless room for 11 hours

Funny funny. Except in my experience the “boy scouts” in Canada - or the group formerly known as the boy scouts - are actually way more progressive than the Girl Guides. They’re now just called “Scouts Canada” because they’ve been completely co-ed for almost 20 years now, and this is one of their bylaws:

I was a Brownie in Toronto in the late 1990s and I just came here to say, THE UNIFORMS AREN’T BROWN WITH ORANGE ACCENTS ANYMORE!? Nothing is sacred anymore!

Good for the Girl Guides for taking a stand though. I’m not crossing the border for the same reasons. I’ll spend my money at local businesses instead and visit

Boom goes Florida’s economy.

New York City is also projecting that there will be 300,000 fewer tourists. Because people are hearing stories of CBP treating people like shit and deciding that it’s just not worth the risks. And the idea of forcing people to hand over passwords is terrifying for the business crowd, so business travel should be down

Wow. The sad part is, for the Trump administration this guy wouldn’t be an illegal, he’d be a go-getter with a success story.

The first undocumented worker I ever dealt with was an Englishman who mistakenly believed he could work for a Fortune 500 company in the US without a work visa. His boss hid him while having him work off the books until we could get a visa (back in the ‘90s when there were plenty of visas available).

I think that’s by design though.

You know what else I love? His entire administration is weak and lame! Not one of those Trump people have the balls to challenge the president when he is wrong, and they provide cover for his ridiculous lies! What a mealy-mouthed bunch of spineless strivers.

Looking at how much insurance is going to go up, I’m honestly surprised at that number. It seems too low. Many people are going to see their insurance go up thousands of dollars per year, and we are talking about people that didn’t have much money to begin with. The middle class and rich will get tax credits that give

I love it how these racist evil morons have the gall to judge people and their immigration statuses just by looking at them and drawing the most simplistic conclusions. Brown = immigrant, Speaks-With-An-Accent = immigrant. And then they proceed to just rub in the fact the US are being magnanimous in “letting” these

I remember at the zoo in my hometown spring was the time to catch all the ducklings and mamas and move them to the aviary. Cause if they stayed on the lake the giant catfish would eat them. So you’d see zookeepers hearding the ducklings and mama or even taking a canoe out on the lake because some little fluffball
