Northridge 94 - our 12 yr old was at a sleep over, which worked out really well, once we found the heavy clock that fell off the shelf and into the middle of the bed.
So these are what we’re sending to fight ISIS Toyotas, right?
I’ve always thought “Spend Less Than You Earn” is unhelpful because it ignores the role of credit and investments (think a mortgage or car loan), much the way that “Eat Less, Move More” ignores the quality of calories ingested (think 100 calories of lean meat vs 100 calories of sugar).
Seriously, the only hidden value in extended warranties is the overwhelming value for the seller - that part remains well hidden from the buying public
They’re both made to look like insurance, but think of it like, say, a car. If you bought a car off the lot, and the dealer turned a 10% profit, that’s normal. If you bought a car, and the dealer made 200% percent profit, you just got ripped off.

So people will always need to be convinced, or manipulated, to conserve water in a drought, or to play a supporting role on a…
My personal fave is the private debt collectors going after unpaid taxes. Take what the IRS does, and give it to profit-motivated collection agencies that are frequently in the news for abuses. Now that there is some governance!
The answer is always Camaro.
