man, you are so wrong. A 2006 Forester curb weight is around 3.250 lbs, wich is just 200lbs heavier than a new-gen GTI. With the Symmetrical AWD system, I can bet you all day long, this Forester can “dance” more graciously than whatever car you are advocating for. 

Driver tipping is the US is bullcrap all the way. I almost never tip, and if so, just a small amount, like 10%. I´ll pay the price of the fare and that´s it.

Its weird that in the US, license plates belong to the owner of the vehicle, not the vehicle itself. Here, once the car leave the dealer lot, its definitive plates get stuck on, and you can´t change it.
