Didnt have to. If its a Camry, it needs wheel bearings replaced after a quarter million miles. Even if it only drives on sunny, dry weather on smooth roads.

Ive seen the Camry Dent, and i´ve talked with my brother about it. Didnt know it was a phenomenom though. I´ll see if in Brazil there are any. But i highly doubt it. Camrys are quite expensive around here, and often come in black or silver. Most are armored.

Probably not. Nicaragua, albeit a poor country, is not a monkey-riddled jungle. They´ll manage to source parts and fix whatever breaks. I´ll bet this thing will serve for more than 10 years until it becomes a heaping pile of crap. And by that i mean, it will be missing three tires, 2 cylinders and the front seat.

I´d imagine Teslas will only get better as taxis because the used car market will grow, parts will be more available and Tesla will hone out the defects on new ones. There will be more charging stations that will charge quicker and cheaper. Its a win situation

hahahah this is absolutely normal maintenance. Imagine a bearing wkring for 240 thousand miles straight. If you did your maintenace properly, you would have replaced them a couple times already.
