My mother´s 09 Jetta Variant has some electrical gremlins. Sometimes, whne im doing a more “spirited” driving, the check engine, e-brake and traction control lights would come on, but absolutely nothing was wrong with the car. I pulled over, turned it off, started it over again and that was it.

Then you are distorting things due to your point of view. Ive never said which cars ive driven in comparison to these ones. Yes, a Jetta is slow when compared to a 911, but the Jetta is not slow at all. 0-60 in around 7 sec and a top speed of 238 kmh is definitely more than you need in a DD.
