The worst is finding out that the fancy glass was actually included in the purchase after you left without it! This has happened to me and I wish I had that glass/crystal skull cocktail glass. I am sad.

I borrowed my parents’ old pressure cooker because I read about their prevalence in Indian cooking but I was so afraid to use it, and so many of the recipes I found for pressure cooking online were for instant pots that I was afraid to use it.

These sound delicious. I have also tried using other pickled japanese vegetbles (sweet pickled garlic, radishes, etc) in place of or in combination with the traditional cocktail olives/onions in martinis to varying, but often delicious effect (both vodka and gin versions).

Baldurs Gate came in a thick paper case like this and its probably my only PC CD with a crack in it (well just one of of the 5 discs). That said, if you’re worried about damage, why get a physical version at all? I wish everything just had DRM free download options like GOG.

I like the orange flavor. I am excited to try these. I am still sad about when they changed their size like a decade or so ago though.

Painting is thousands of years older than videogames, but it’s nearly impossible to go to a contemporary art museum without encountering some form of “my kid could’ve painted that;” or read a discussion about the lack of representation at some biennial in Art Forum;  or learn about how much your local government

literally the most recent and chunkest pikachu:

well that answers the question of whether im looking to get a ps5 or xboxsx at launch. now i just need to know if ps5 has anything worthwhile for launch; maybe i can wait a year or two(+) on both back like when i had no money haha

I really like the deluge of gaming news that comes at once from e3, but I could care less if it was actually all at e3. Just do Directs for everyone.

and i thought the contrast was bad on my old gameboy!

first article ive read where the author professes their own genius, and then immediately backs it up

If you don’t want to see it, fine, but whining about it is boring and tired. I will see it because it will be gorgeous and fun, even if dumb.

dang i wish the whole comic was made of pictures like the cover. that would be true vertigo-like experimental comics haha

Dukes is great, but so is Kewpie, Best Foods, Safflower Veganiase, etc. At one time I had 7 mayos in the fridge. I now keep it to two (rotate best foods and Dukes, and always have kewpie; sometimes a third experimental) and make any flavored ones (wasabi mayo, sriracha mayo, etc) by hand at the point of use. No need

a dollop of peanut butter and a dollop of mayo are the perfect dips to alternate for pretzel sticks. alternately, really good mustard you get from a brewery.

bebop cola!

A lot of public libraries have videogames for checkout. Either for free or like a dollar a week. You might have to place a hold for the latest and greatest, but def a good option!

Right on. I miss Good Grief/1UP Yours but i think think Chris Plante is the only one who still works in games writing (just looked him up he’s editor in chief at polygon now!), and Scott Sharkey got sober and seems to out of games writing, and Tina Sanchez is pretty successful as a game dev from what I gather!
