Very good post :D Keep it up!

The thing that kept me away was the “App available through December 31, 2019" posted on their website (I swear it was 2018 last time I looked, but that was a month or two ago). I don’t want to spend a hundred bucks on something that has the potential to delete itself in a couple years. Also the base set had a lot of

Would you say the same about food? There are eating disorders listed in the DSM, etc. I think this is something else.

I thought the KOTOR game was horrible as an EU setting, but great as a normal star wars game with a blank slate. The Old Republic was an established setting long before the game came out and it was 1000 years before the movies and the tech was all different. Lightsabers had backpacks and cords to power them, blasters

I kinda liked darksaber haha. I remember liking Drom Guldi. One of my old AOL dialup names was a reference to him and Dash Rendar haha seventh graders... That was the one with the skeleton death star right (just the laser)? Also with the evil guy who could make a super long lightsaber beam and shoot it out? So ridic

Xwing vs Tie Fighter had the best multiplayer. I prefer it overall to Xwing Alliance. Why did you think it should not be named?

...and chaff/flares and cycling targets (and parts of targets), primary secondary and tertiary goals., ion cannons vs blasters, lots of torpedo types, etc. They were complicated, but I don’t think we need more dumbed down games. The star wars property would pull more kids in and they are fast learners and oldies like

I really wish they’d do a $20 indie style game with the star wars licence. It would sell to the people who buy big headed vinyl toy stormtroopers with mickey ears enough to cover the costs, and hopefully give the rest of us a good game

Rogue One was equal to or much better than most of the old EU stuff

Her music sounds a lot like if Princess Nokia was running out of breath. I’m all for her having fun, but I dont think she was making Jimmy Fallon speechless so much as he was trying to help her seem cool.

I think mainly all the planets are breathable because that’s why they’re settled. The only reason to settle a non breathable planet would be for resources, but that’s pretty rare in the star wars mythology and is only done to serve the plot. Also, if I saw what I was up against like that guy did I’d prob put anything

I agree with all of this except I don’t think it is a death/rebirth. I think it is more of a “hey, we know the last movie killed any resolution that the original trilogy offered, but here are some interesting things to keep you engaged. the way we are running things now means that the universe of star wars will have

I think Luke’s high jump in Empire covered that base...

He does force choke am imperial officer in ANH so same thing basically

Kylo specifically decided to not kill Leia. They made a point of that very explicitly in the movie. He didn’t kill Luke either. He only killed Han, and that was just because they used Han as both a Obi wan surrogate in TFA ad to show he’s edgier than Luke who refused to kill his pops.

“But Luke dies tragically.”

Oh! That makes way more sense haha. I was glad for it being moredifferent than TFA was, but still see a couple too many echos. I liked it enough though and am not giving up on star wars yet!

How is that not a legitimate criticism? Criticize eps 1-3 how you want, but repetition is not one of their problems. So far 7-9 has tons of samey-ness. I think TLJ was much more interesting than TFA but the purposeful echos of the original movies are still ever-present.

yeah, exactly. theyll be an influence but they wont be enshrined anymore. ie thrawn is in the cgi show, but the heir to the empire trilogy def didnt happen
