While I totally agree with your points, those were all problems carried over from TFA. This movie had issues, but I think it tries its hardest to correct them and get the series back on track.

Simple explaination:

I long ago decided, that it’s not worth my time to complain about games, movies, books, etc that I don’t like online (unless they are broken, promote horrible things, etc). If it’s something that doesn’t hurt anyone, let them enjoy it!

A Shadowman comic came out just a couple months ago in October. It involved Rae Sremmurd and the art is great. I only picked it up from the comic shop this week so I haven’t read it yet, but I’m stoked!

it’s mostly gameplay content. the story/cutscenes (depending on your skill) are maybe 5%(generous) of the time spent on the DLC. it’s not drastically different than the main game, but it’s more of it and solid at that.

it was at the end of the book. mecha godzilla and leopardon, millenium falcon and the enterprise, lots of other smaller unnamed ip flying around. there was a huge battle at the end. it looks like there will be more in this one though so could be pretty cool

thats likely because they are supposed to be user created OASIS avatars exactly like user created poser models. have you ever seen the player avatars in second life? thats the closest thing to OASIS now a days.

why does a near future sci fi have to abandon all established IP? why do you think it would be better to create a bunch of new “classic video games” instead of using existing ones?

Second life is such a crazy thing. I load it up every year or two and just take a look around and am astounded at the effort that people have put into it.
