I live in St Joe. All of this is true, it’s legit. There are also weird ice bubbles that form on the blades of grass by the lake. The town is on a bluff so it’s not quite as terrible and wind whipped as you’d think - it’s actually kind of pleasant. Usually Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo have more snow and usually worse…
