TechCrunch are apparently reporting that signing up for Equifax’s credit monitoring requires waiving the right to sue. If one wants to avoid waiving that right, can ones’ credit be protected effectively through using services like Credit Karma and the like?

If you’re citing a text maybe, but when you’re talking about an a person, basically any professional writing style guide would stipulate that you use their full name (with or without an honorific) on the first mention and then their surname with an honorific from that point onward.
