The problem for the Ringer I see is that Simmons hasn’t been writing. He didn’t follow the Jeff Ross “stay in your lane” advice and stopped writing. I used to check Grantland regular for new Simmons columns. I have no reason to go Ringer if they aren’t even regularly forthcoming.
