Influenza CAN cause some GI symptoms but it mostly does so in children. It’s primarily a respiratory illness. The one that goes around annually in the winter & causes vomiting/diarrhea is called norovirus. Kids can get rotavirus which is similar but noro is the big one that’s most common.

None of this explains how she didn’t realize she was in the whole ass wrong apartment. There’s a big piece of this story STILL missing even after her conviction & we’ll probably never know what it is.  The question of why she was so disoriented and/or quick to murder someone is a huge blank spot.
