@Adhominem: Or wobble down to the closest IKEA and buy a a cheap small-flat-teflon-oven-plate-thingy™ (a.k.a "ugnsplåt" in swedish). Works fine as a mousepad.

Only thing i had a problem with was creating a battle.net account. Apperantly you NEED to select a title (even though it says it's not necessary) otherwise you get a HTTP 500 error on the next step.

Same problem when i studied too. We had some pretty damn expensive workstations for 3D graphics, and out of 45, only 2 hadn't had their motherboard (or hdd) burn up after two years. Ofcourse Dell swung by each time to fix them, but when we suggested that they put some better components in them they said that it isn't…

@Squirrelbot3000: I disagree. Personally i think that concave thumbsticks give much better grip.
