Grew up in a suburb of Kansas City (Kansas) and my favorite grade-school hot lunch was chili because it came with a cinnamon roll. This is a thing...and it’s wonderful.

I have lived in this Kansas district my entire life. Yes, historically it’s roughly 60% Republican, 40% Democrats - actually represented by a Democrat for 12 of the past 17 years. It’s a shame Kansas in general makes news for shit like this and we all get tagged as red/hillbilly/racist/fundamentalist/right-wing nuts…
