Every couple of years Jerry gets a Bee Movie in his bonnet about how “woke” killed comedy and how you couldn’t make Seinfeld today. Then everyone gets upset and rightfully points out that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is still going strong and doing stuff that they couldn’t get away with on Seinfeld.

No shit, Sherlock.

You die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the establishment - also see Bill Maher.

If you read the entirety of Seinfeld’s comments, they’re not radical or even unreasonable.

I guess I'm in the minority and can't wait until the "maybe comedy isn't for you" trolls come out, but breaking always makes me feel like I'm watching a third grader's home skit...

I’m starting to think, and hear me out on this, that a 79-year-old producer might not be the best arbiter of what’s funny.

And Ghostbusters, which legally speaking, is just more Huey Lewis and the freakin’ News.

Nothing quite so French as loving two women, one of whom is a young girl.

Croupier is much more Owen’s alley than James Bond. He would have actually made a miserable 007, with even more sadness and exhaustion than Craig, without the lightness that Craig could also bring to the part. But sadness and exhaustion were precisely what was needed for Children of Men.

Cold Open: B- very cute and relatable characters most of us have known

Oh man, this past summer I rediscovered a swimming hole/fishing hole from my childhood that I hadn’t been to in forty years. It was magical. It was also 109% Lake Beach.

What, no love for “Lake Beach”?

While the delivery was shaky, his monologue was a masterclass in stand-up writing. Hardly a word of filler to be found.

It was a bit lower energy and there wasn’t a crazy strange sketch, but I thought it was pretty even-keeled and consistently... humorous. Not a lot of swings for the fences with a couple home runs and a lot of strikeouts, just getting on base.

Yeah, that’s definitely the WTF takeaway from this list.  How DARE those movies be well-crafted escapist fun?  Also, Trainspotting deserves a lot better than “slight redemption.”

Thanks for making this comment because I was about to come in here and start a scene. Also what is with the major Kevin Feige dick riding in the summary “...represent the mindless junk that existed before Kevin Feige started actually caring a bit about story.” do they not think movies had stories before marvel movies

And why the hell did the police, who had already zeroed in on the box, wait till midday, when the beach was now full, to actually check? Why was Robin so sure that the shooter would be hiding on the beach? As far as she knows, he’s fled with her daughter as a hostage. Why would you think someone holding a hostage,

You really need not go further than “Kinja sucks”. It’s a broken system designed to fracture online communities.

I want more from the waitress. She sees all.

It's like a parody of a True Detective line.
