I remember the Mazda CEO stating that a new MS3 would be “Childish” and they would rather focus on going upmarket. The best you will do if you want a Hot Mazda hatch is a used 2nd gen Speed3 and that’s not a bad thing at all...except for the gas mileage and the clutch from hell..

The 2016 Civic coupe EX-T even with the CVT is a pretty quick little car. Test drive one and you will be pleasantly surprised. The EX-T with the CVT is a hair quicker than the last Gen Si. The 6 speed is even better.
