Sadly that will never happen. The Mazda boss stated the previous speed3 was “childish” Mazda wants to go upscale. As a former 2011 speed3 owner yea I drove mine like a hot wheels car complete with nroooooommmmmm sound effects...

A Focus ST, Mustang, Volkswagen GTI,or fully loaded Fiesta ST hell save some cash and get a 2016 Civic Coupe EX-L or wait for the new Si next year......just to name a few... I can go on and on if you want to talk lightly used.....

The Miata is a roadster the convertible top makes it separate than the HARD top twins... if I want a convertible I get a convertible if I want a hard top coupe I don’t buy a Miata.

Lets see, front engine two door RWD performance cars.... pony cars and the Twins fit that category nicely all but in one..price

We mostly got our wish but for 26K? they skipped the cheap part of the equation. When the twins were released you could buy a near loaded V6 Camaro Mustang and Challenger. The twins would of been best sellers if they priced them at say 21K not at 26K base price.
