Sure, you can buy one, wrecked and with a $10k+ battery pack that needs to be replaced. Don’t be a moron.

How are they going to bury an oil filter screen that clogs in the middle of the engine if it doesn’t have an ICE?!?!
Oh, look, another slide show that I’m not going to look at!
“Tell me you can’t afford to buy your kid a car without telling me you can’t afford to buy your kid a car.”
Dude, what fucking crack are you smoking? If I had a teen, there’s no way in hell they’d get behind the wheel of my e46 M3. A 911 turbo and a C63 AMG are on my list as well, and there’s no way a teen would drive one of those, either.
“They can drive any vehicle in the house” Psssshhhhhhhh. GTFO with that. They can…
Ah, I’d love to see what the cars are, alas, it’s a slide show and I’m not clicking through that shit.
It’s a shame, too. I was looking forward to reading the article, but I’m not dealing with slideshows.
You need to name and shame the dealers that do this. Shining a light on behavior like this can bring public pressure that can force change. As it is, you just help them keep this stuff behind closed doors so they can continue to take advantage of people.

Why anyone would consider one of those POS’es is beyond me, same for the Escape. They’re absolute crap and anyone that buys them is earning the repairs bills and massive depreciation that comes with them. This is Jalopnik, that used should be banned for even considering that shit.
Most people buy Nissan because they can’t afford a Honda or a Toyota. Why do people buy modern Z cars? No idea. When it came out it was neat and retro with design to justify the horrible rear and blind spot vision, but I still can’t imagine buying a new one. Weight and a n/a VQ engine that it costs a fortune to wring…
The best Chevy Lumina in the country, even when new, was a complete piece of shit.
Who on earth would you buy that when you can get INPA and multiple other suites of BMW specific software with different capabilities for free, often included with your purchase of specific OBD II cables (most between $20 and $45 shipped) that you just plug into your computer?
Yeah, I had a guy call my office about a car that he bought slightly used. He was given some story about it being a demo car that one of the sales guys bought and then sold back to the dealer. Looked clean as a whistle, had like 3,500 miles on it, and was 15k cheaper than the same model year new.
They don’t make new e46 M3's anymore
“this new law is not a way to curb the problem.”
Never buy the first two years of a new model/engine....
Honda S-2000. I helped tune an AEM stand alone engine management system for one back in 2001, was looking at getting one during my search for a fun weekend convertible back in 2018, and my future mother in law has one and I could borrow it any time I want. But I’m 6'4" and have to shoehorn myself in only to have my…
The interior is absolutely garbage. I’ve never seen wood trim that looked as bad brand new, or faded so quickly in sunlight and looked even worse. S Types are low end market trash.
Seriously, that’s all they needed to do, but they’re too stupid and vain to do so, so fuck ‘em.
