The Evora is a horrible suggestion. Meh resale, difficult to sell, multiple components that break a lot, hard to work on, just a general PITA to own.
Your pun is bad and you should feel bad.
A detailed service history, scan by a dealer, and PPI by and independent mechanic should sort out whether this thing is a time bomb waiting to go off, or a good deal. I’d be wary of the mileage alone, though.
The driver’s side door pull is incredibly disappointing, though, especially when compared to the passenger side.
See my comment with the passenger side door handle, tho. The passenger has an “oh shit” handle on each side. I’m pissed they did what the did with the driver’s side.
The Lexus LC 500 has outstnading passenger side door pulls, as well as a center “oh shit” handle that is elegantly worked in. Unfortunately, the driver door pull (which is obviously going to be getting the most use) is integrated into the horizontal door pull and is boring, but, for not, bask in the glory of not only…
What. Fucking. Car.?
I can’t fucking wait to buy one of these in ten years! The hard top is a gorgeous car, but the convertible is going to be amazing for weekend trips to the beach!
Honestly, at the $50k-$60k price point, I’d be looking at a Porsche 996 turbo with plenty of maintenance dollars left over, or a 997 turbo, not a new supra.
For some reason it’s not letting me upload a pic, but you can’t go wrong with an light armored patrol vehicle with a Triton V10 in it!
“I bought a house that was too big and too much shit. I’ve decided that the perfect solution is to swing about as far back to the other side as the pendulum can go. I’m a genius!”
There you go, boys and girls, I’ve saved you reading the entire article.
Jesus, the guy that i way over his miles on his lease is a fucking idiot! Did he not see that happening? Could he not find a beater? What changed all the sudden that his mis-estimated his projected mileage so badly?
This is not new and they’re not changing anything. There have been multiple options on the market for years that do the same thing.

Not a single one of those people had to accept that car. Every single one of them could have sold the car and wound up with thousands of dollars for free.
I was looking for a late 90's to mid oo’s sports car with the only real requirement being that it was a convertible, targa, or T-tops. I went through a ton of 300zx ads and the only really good ones that fit my criteria (preference for white or white pearl, leather interior, six speed, below 100,000 miles, no accident…
Cadillac is like that kid who is trying to figure out who he is and, instead of looking a himself, looks at everyone else and tries to copy them. It’s fucking sad. Cadillac has personality, history, and, formerly, gravitas and they can’t be bothered to realize it and capitalize on it.
“Individually I completely hate the elements of this car”
I’ve seen a few around and they’re gorgeous cars. It’s an model I’d absolutely keep an eye out for a used one a few years down the road once they’ve depreciated some, but the transmission is supposedly shitty. In a car that costs that much, there’s no reason they couldn’t install a transmission capable of quick shifts…
Except for Torchinky’s stupid response, but when has he not given a stupid response to these?
