Retrofit ducting

Must have some funky construction.  I lived in a number of houses built in the late 1800's - early 1900's when in undergrad, all of which had retrofitted ducting for central heating and air, and visited friends in similar houses which were similarly outfitted.

I can see it happening frequently, however, in this specific case, it seems like both parties are very well heeled and can more than afford their own attorneys.

I practice in Alabama and, while a court can order one party to pay the other party’s legal fees and costs, it generally takes some sort of serious misbehavior on the part of one party (or wealth on one side and lack of resources on the other)in for a judge to order it. I wouldn’t say it’s a frequent thing.
