Die, now for even less money!
Die, now for even less money!
Dear fucking lord.
But for real, though. I goddamn hate the wood door trim on my new truck. I didn’t get the fanciest F-150, but I got the next-to-fanciest F-150 with the dark interior. The wood door inserts literally look like someone shaped a 2x4 and fucking spray painted it black.
I test drive a limited and that wood looked chintzy…
“Your F-150 Platinum’s MSRP was more than $52k.”
I guess the question is how long it’ll take for them to get to 50k. If production numbers are sufficiently low, it may be that only 10 year old models with the interiors worn away, burst seams on side bolsters, stained door cards, etc, hit that price.
I can’t wait for these to drop to $50k used, though I’d want a bitch bucket version, so a convertible. It’s not like it’s a serious sports car anyway, so I wouldn’t feel bad about getting the less hardcore convertible model.
Yeah, I call bullshit. My 2018 F-150 Platinum with the 3.5 L ecoboost was 52k or therabouts. A STX for 45k? GTFO.
I’ve used the headrest on my 2016 and then my 2018 F-150 because they’re very comfortable and have two positions, one more forward, and one further back so it’s comfortable to rest your head against and doesn’t shove your head forward.
I love this bodystyle Aston more than any other except the DB5, they’re just so goddamn expensive...
To use it in a sentence:
The 45th president of the United States is feckless.
Goddamnit, Tom, it was 93 degrees in Birmingham, Alabama today and it’s been hot for about a month and a half already and I’ve had many enjoyable pool days. It’s been officially summer for a while now, even if you Yankees pretend otherwise.
Also, while this is newer, in the 15k-20k range, why not buy an S20o0 and not…
A) You continue to try and distract form the main issue. The diplomat could have imported and used a vehicle that would otherwise not be legal to own or operate in any locality in the US.
B) Please, by all means, continue to try to explain the law the the lawyer but, for fuck’s sake, try to stay on subject.
That’s DC and a private property owner in DC. I promise you the federal government could give two shits how angry San Francisco over amounts due for tickets issued to a diplomatic vehicle that hasn’t passed inspection.
Further, as far as I am aware, diplomatic immunity if not a defense for a breach of contract claim.…
OMG, THE POINT WAS NOT ABOUT SECURITY, IT WAS ABOUT A DIPLOMAT BEING ABLE TO BRING IN THEIR OWN CAR IF THEY WANT TO. THE RATIONALE FOR IT DOESN’T MATTER!
I honestly don’t care about how secure the car is. The only meaningful point of my statement was that diplomats can import and run cars if they want. They cannot be forced to use a car that was purchased here in in the states or that is available in the US.
Even so, shipping over a car for a diplomat is a non-issue.
And, when they don’t pass the local inspection, they get driven anyway. Then, when a ticket is issued, diplomatic immunity is declared and the municipality gets nothing. They can assess all the fines they want, the state department isn’t going to cause a diplomatic row because some state of municipality gets its…
Yeah, that was the dodgy bit for me. Forcing a diplomat to use a car that wasn’t secured, verified, and imported by the country they represent seems like asking to have listening/tracking devices or other security risks installed on them. One would think diplomatic vehicles would be transported by the guest country…
This one has step, the old one didn’t! They’re a mf’er to get to stick in the retracted position, though!
That’s the pic that made me say, “Nope! Buying a new F-150 now instead of waiting for this crap to come out!”
WHO ACTUALLY WANTS A GIANT FUCKING BADGE ON THEIR CONSOLE COVER? I know what trim level I bought, as do other people because there are badges on the outside saying it.
I test drove a 2018 F-150 Limited and it…
