I’m actually more amazed that you received a response so quickly. Whenever I get an update on an account/tweet I’ve reported, it’s *weeks* after I’ve done so.

Welcome, brother.

My family was incredibly lucky: My mom was a medical lemon when I was growing up but got better thanks to my dad’s quality insurance. If he didn’t have that, she would’ve died before I turned 14. I wound up writing about it this summer when the GOP was trying to repeal the ACA (before they signed its death warrant

So. I was learning to scuba dive in Kona (where the movie was filmed) the summer Waterworld came out. It turns out the film’s budget ballooned out of control thanks to a bunch of bone-headed decisions.

The dive shop I was learning at had several employees who worked on the movie, and there were a few stories that’ve

The fact that Suicide Squad got nominated -yet Wonder Woman didn’t- is all the proof we need that the Oscars are worthless.

Now playing

I genuinely thought it was Man-E-Faces, based on the general shape.

Four Cheese Pizza Hot Pockets, a little mozzarella cheese sprinkled on top, pinches of basil, and pair with a good stout beer (I’m currently going with Belching Beaver Brewery’s peanut butter stout). On a rainy day, it’s delightful.

Gurl. I am right there with you on that. That movie is so damn stylish; it’s just a joy to watch, and the soundtrack is killer.

The first movie I really remember watching with my dad was the original Tron. Having gone back and watched it countless times as an adult, I’ve had to admit that it’s *also* not a good film,

...I may have watched it in the theater. I am not proud of that, though Gerard Butler playing Set as the most Scottish Scotsman who ever Scottished was rather endearing.

Welcome to the DC Murderverse.

I’ve seen most of these and agree with you: Every one of these was something special.

What about a list of movies that weren’t really good, but have turned into guilty pleasures? The ones reserved for rainy days and meals made from Hot Pockets?

My apartment still receives mail for a number of previous tenants. I bought a stamp that says “Address unknown: Return to sender” that I apply and then put the notes in my outgoing mail box. Over the past year, I’ve started to receive a lot less mail for other people. https://www.amazon.com/RETURN-SENDER-Inking-Rubber-

As someone who bought these: The sound quality is pretty good, but they’re fairly fragile. I took them to the gym for some weight-lifting and a small amount of sweat wound up frying them: I smelled some burning plastic towards the end of my workout and suddenly the sound cut out. They’re nice for just very casual use,

Thank you!!!

I am so jealous of others’ ability to post photos on this site. I think my company firewall is causing an error every time I try to upload/link one.

Stephen Dorff AKA Deacon Frost AKA Marvel’s Sexiest Movie Villain™

I’d watch the Hell out of it. Ronald D Moore created a pilot for a show called 17th Precinct that was a fantasy-based police procedural. The pilot was great and starred Stockard Channing; I’m genuinely sad we don’t get more fun takes on procedurals like that.

Death Valley! That show was GREAT

I didn’t realize the script was by Max Landis. His movies tend to feel stuffed to the brim with cool ideas that are never given enough time to really be explored.

That said: His comics tend to be INSANELY good because they’re such fascinating worlds/premises. Maybe they’ll flesh Bright out as a comic?

I am so, SO, happy that Ralph is such a delightful part of the Flash universe now. He and Sue had so much tragedy in the comics over the past decade and a half, and it’s nice to see such a fun character getting to have... well, y’know, fun.

Good.
