I dunno. There was a World’s Finest comic where Doc and Fatty used a typewriter to go back in time and con King Arthur.

I feel like that was pretty dope.

I counter with the time King Arthur knighted Superman and Batman. After aliens dragged them through time and tricked them into overthrowing Camelot.

Lord knows I’m going to go see it, because I’m a sucker for anything Guy Ritchie, but it seems like your opinion’s in the minority.

Now playing

The Big Hit with 1990s Mark Wahlberg, Christina Applegate, Lou Diamond Phillips, China Cow, Antonio Sabato Jr., and Avery Brooks. I have never seen a dumber movie with a more beautiful cast.

Sean Hannity was wigging out about this possibility, which led some to theorize his behavior was also under scrutiny.

Wayne LaPierre also had some interesting words at the NRA convention:

A black James Bond was the original idea for the Ultimate Nick Fury, if I remember right. It was an interesting idea that they introduced in Ultimate X-Men, but the father figure Bendis and Bagley created in Ultimate Spider-Man wound up being the final version.
I was a little bummed we didn’t get to see more of Nick

Yup. And then Aunt May got shot because he made his identity public. And then we were treated to the garbage that is One More Day.

That said: I don’t think I ever enjoyed a crossover like the recent Secret Wars. It had a long buildup (years, basically), and each tie-in series was pretty much optional to read. Those tie-ins were a lot of fun, too, since they essentially were glorified What If stories and/or visits back to alternate universes I

Let’s also not forget that Lamar Smith was the author of SOPA: The bill so reviled by the collective internet (aside from GoDaddy, blech), that just about every major site was prepared to shut down for a day in protest.

The original article states that he was disqualified because he failed to appropriately expense glow sticks for a promotional video. Which... OK. That seems kinda nitty-gritty, but he broke the rules, so whatever.

I mean... considering how Jane is currently Thor in the comics, I feel like she’s very much the Odinson’s equal.

I feel like the DCEU is an abusive relationship. We keep on getting promised love and change with each trailer, and then they release a movie (which is like getting popped in the mouth).

Between Riverdale and Mark Waid’s comic run, Archie is going through a renaissance. I love it. My only complaint is that Jughead needs more screen time on TV.

Yeah... that’s become rather uncomfortable. It... I dunno. I feel like it could’ve been A LOT worse, given when the movie was made and humor was a lot more centered around de-humanizing people like that. But I still cringe when I see it.

God, can we just all take a moment to appreciate what a glorious movie Soapdish is?

It has arguably one of the greatest casts ever assembled, happily vamping it up for the better part of two hours.

Obamacare vs GOP “Care”

I grew up going to private schools, where I didn’t realize how well off my family was because we were “poor” in comparison to everyone else.

Eventually, we moved to a moneyed suburb of the Bay Area, where we felt like we were somewhere in the middle: We took nice trips, I got a new computer every couple of years, and

Ah! Thanks!

Out of curiosity, were there any shenanigans this year orchestrated by Vox Day?
