I have been testing out the pre-beta build 6801 and so far I am impressed. The performance has definitely increased and it seems to be stable for a beta.

Not extremely useful... Windows has already had the ability to group windows according to screen size, and I find it much easier to just double-click on a window to maximize it.

Windows 7 is making some very good progress. Hopefully it will deliver with it's improved kernel and better performance.

Anybody know the build of this version of Windows 7?

People are finally realizing that internet explorer is obsolete. Yayy

This does not mean as much as it did in the past... The computers that I own rarely shutdown because they utilize power saving mode and hibernation. The real test will be a side by side performance test of Windows Vista Vs. Windows 7.

So when is Google Chrome going to go Linux?

I am finally having some hope for windows. These effects look nice, but hopefully they can fix the major problems of the OS.

Caps lock does have it's uses, but I think that a more complicated key combination to activate "ALL CAPS" would advert us from the problem of accidentally pressing it.

@Harrison20: Hopefully the majority of the wireless incompatiblities will be fixed with the new release.

This tool would be very useful if you wanted to use DRM Itunes Music on a good ol' mp3 player.

Maybe this time they will finally fix most of the gripes with Vista...

I've had this tool on my flash drive for a while. For being under 1MB it is a very useful tool to remotely access a pc, or shut it down.

This is a very nice and elegant desktop setup, but wall mounting can be a real hassle if you have to get to the back of the monitor.
