Yeah I’m not too worried about it. I’m used to the gameplay in the older ones and still enjoy them a lot. I never got around to playing my PS3 copies so I’m just happy to finally go through their stories in-order.

Continuing my Yakuza quest this year. I am about halfway through Kiwami 2 and wow, I honestly didn’t look into the game too much prior to playing—I already know what the series is about, so I was a bit blown away at how much of an upgrade Kiwami 2 was compared to previous two.

lol, I’m playing through all of them on PS4 right now (previously I’ve only played 1 and 2 on PS2). Finished 0, Kiwami, and am halfway through Kiwami 2. So far no fatigue yet!

Great review. I think I will pick up this game at some point. I haven’t played a lot of roguelikes, but titles like Crypt of the Necrodancer and Hades have helped me come around on them. This one looks and sounds like a great game—I love me some sci-fi action.

I’m getting Pokémon Snap this Friday and also physical copies for Crypt of the Necrodancer for Switch and PS4 are out the same day, so I’m getting one for Switch. I’m really interested in Returnal, but probably won’t buy it right away.
