Kidney infections, perhaps, but d-mannose has cured me of UTI's several times, and quickly. I haven't taken antibiotics for UTI's in years, and that is a beautiful thing. It's amazing for preventing and curing UTI's. I only need my own experience to know that it's true!

I get sad every time I read people say that UTI = doctor = antibiotics. No, that's not the only cure. As other commenters have already said, d-mannose is an all-natural solution, that will not make you immune to antibiotics. Please explore non-pharma options when you can. I haven't had a UTI in 3 years because of this

Screw cranberry juice or pills or anything else... the only thing that's worked for me is d-mannose powder. I used to get UTIs regularly and always took cranberry pills and drank the juice and got them anyway. If you have a UTI, take d-mannose powder dissolved in water every couple of hours for a few days to cure it.

OMG, I just stopped dating a jabby pointed tongue kisser. What horrifies me most is that no girl from his past corrected him. He just jabbed his hard pointy tongue in my mouth, just jabbed. !

if you happen to have a japanese dollar store near you (daiso) or a japanese grocery store (mitsuwa), you can also find pads that are more like the original shu. good luck!

i also have some replacement pads from the japanese dollar store but they were never as good as the real shu replacement pads, which i did shell out the $$$s for for awhile. but the ELF ones worked well for me. i'm not sure why i all of a sudden decided to try out the ELF one as a curler, but it grew on me. it

they don't know our plight!

it's actually a different type of pad, but it fits. i actually like it better! it's more sproingy, as the orignal shu one is a bit firm. but i guess it really depends on who's lashes are being curled. for $1, it's totally worth a try.

Holla! as an asian with stick straight lashes that fall straight downward, i have to curl my lashes, because really, they're in front of my eyeballs if i don't. i've tried em all, but the shu uemura really is a great one, despite its price. i also have a koji one that i like (another japanese brand). but now i use the

if you can get the ELF eyelash curler from target, it's only $1 and it comes with 2 pads. you can also get replacement pads at Nordstrom but it's a lot more than $1!

i use baby shampoo!

i hear contradictory info on this all the time... the C supposedly has yellow undertone, the W supposedly pink. but i've heard the opposite too. i've heard that the W is better for undereye circles since those are blue based, and the pink counteracts the blue. and i've heard that the C is better for red spots because

i love me some studio finish concealer! i've had several terrible bouts of adult acne and have tons of red spots / scars leftover that will take forever to fade, i'm just lucky with that type of skin. i tried so many concealers but this was the one that won over them all.

for budget-conscious jezzies out there... you can get blushable creme sticks by NYC at your local drugstores for $3.99! it's not as much of a tint as a creme blush in stick form, but i'm a huge fan of them and you can't beat the price!

the slew of typos showing up on jezebel lately make me think women can't do well in non-STEM careers either...

there's also a version by lucky jeans that's also a decent dupe...

omg, i know, i've been coveting that bag... it's a Tom Ford Motorcycle Zip Bag that is $3,990.00 and only available in Tom Ford Boutiques. ~sigh~ i recently got a decent dupe off of asos, but it's just not the same!

this quote from the healthateverysizeblog article says it all for me "Jess seems to be equating "loving her body" with "being passive about health."". just because you're overweight does not mean you're unhealthy, and just because you're thin does not mean you're healthy. depending on age, genetics, lifestyle, etc.,

i bought my ex a blackberry once and he immediately lost it in a cab, where the next passenger picked it up and then he was able to pick it up from her. then he lost it again his first night in san francisco in another cab and the cabbie returned it to him. i guess he lucked out

i've got crap skin too... i only use olay complete sensitive skin spf 15 (the "new" old one, that says classic gentle formula) as a moisturizer and if i need heavy duty sunscreen for my face, i stick to baby or sensitive skin ones that are made with physical sunblocks (zinc oxide and titanium dioxide), and not
