I don’t think anyone is suggesting she was wrong for objecting to the joke. But the outcome of her objection was text-book appropriate. A swift apology, a promise to not do it again. And the joke was only a “rape” joke if you dig in to the context. I personally had no idea the phrase “hide your kids, hide your wife”…

That’s not the same thing at all. That’s a single earbud for phone calls (low quality voice audio, no stereo, no synced sound). Yes the picture shows two of them, but that’s because at $14 its important for whoever is selling them to trick you into thinking they’re something they’re not.
