Think the harder part is people getting a $45K loan on a 10 year old car more than the up keeping.

I agree with not getting winter tires since you already have a daily driver. Winter is almost halfway over now so who knows how much snow we might get the rest of the year.

Not so much an investment but if bought a 93-98 Toyota Supra before 2001 it went up a lot in value after the movie The Fast and the Furious came out.
