This lends credence to another commenter's theory that the AVC authors intentionally slip in eye-rollingly obvious errors to entice people down to the comments section. Worked on me, ugh.

100% YES! I was probably 9 or 10 when I played this and loved the whole checking up on everybody where they're all smiling and waving.
