I think we worry too much about the age of a certain platform. If it works and incremental updates are done to various components, I don’t see a problem with it. It seems to be working for FCA with the Challenger and the updated-every-decade-or-so-Wrangler.

People also forget that extreme opinions used in defense of the movement are actually used against the movement.
We should be careful about shaming people who don’t kneel. Everybody got all bent out of shape when Kaep knelt, even though it was his first amendment right to damn well do what he pleased. But now that everybody’s all woke we’re doing it all over again - getting bent out of shape when someone doesn’t kneel.
It makes the person getting mad feel kind of smug.
So let me get this straight. F1 is a huge corporation full of rich white dudes who possibly (likely) are only doing this because it is trendy/good PR/attractive to young consumers/penance for terrible past actions.
Kneeling doesn’t mean anything. It’s theater. Even David Duke can kneel. It’s what the person does day-to-day that tells if they are racist.
It’s interesting to see (ponder? contemplate?) how a sport with no American (USA) competitors interacts with a movement that is very US-centric (even if the underlying issue is global in scope).
Does getting mad at someone for not doing enough really help anything?
