Okay, so Carol Brady and Fidel Castro walk into a bar…

Man, I can't WAIT for Henry Kissinger to die!!!

I'd rather take Dick Van Dyke's British accent in Mary Poppins than Andrew Lincoln's as a southern sheriff.

It's actually a yin/yang necklace worn by a Godless unrequited love interest.

Said an old white Jewish dude via a medium appropriated from dead black folk.

Yeah but he did start super strong.

Maher's panel is a shitshow. He only reigns it in when the conversation steers toward a rehearsed bit or when he has to move on. But that's infinitely better than wilmore's micro managing of the "discussion."

And Jason Jones. And Jessica Williams. Either of those two would have made an excellent replacement for Stewart. Jones had already made other plans when Stewart announced but Jessica was still a viable choice and now that they didn't lock her up, she's moved on as well.

Yeah, but unlike TNS, the guests totally make @midnight awesome from time to time.

It's funny you invoke Maher because my biggest critique of TNS in the first few months was, "I didn't think anyone could be a worse moderator than Maher."

The Z button was awesome in it's placement and the games that used it made great use of it, especially Zelda games or first person shooters that used it as a trigger.

I'd say that Sunshine had a similar, maybe even greater sense of exploration within the levels and in the broader "world" that houses them. Most underrated of all the 3d Marios…

"I want to be an architect."

I WAS at the first Coachella.
Crazy story:
It was in October, not April, just a few weeks after the shitshow that was Woodstock 99. To drive the point home that this festival was going to be different, everyone got 2 free bottles of water as they entered along with a map of the grounds with refilling stations

Lucky for the hall the ceremonies are in spring, not the summer when Miller is booked so solid at all those county fairs.

They're actually playing Troubadour tonight.

Where's the Ju-Ju Hounds reunion, already?

"We asked for this presidency and we're going to get it."

In relation to her voice, no less. I'd call that kind of writing "too on the nose" but that would just be too lazy an observation.

I'm pretty sure no one leaves it all on stage like this woman does. And her band right now is amazing. Seeing her live is like going to church, therapy and the library. So entertaining, but it's also soul cleansing and you also end up working a bunch of things out within yourself.
