Arrest him. Tow and crush his car. How fucking hard is that to figure out?

Why do you think you should get a settlement worth the cost of a brand new car on a wrecked 19 year old car?

“Your premise is far from consumer friendly and only benefits OEMs bottom-line and bonus structure.”

The OP’s central premise was that doing this would benefit the OEM’s bottom line. It had nothing to do with being “consumer friendly.

Yeah, what you described is called math. There’s nothing tricky about it.

I’ve never gotten that, “EV’s can’t be heard”. If a car is going fast enough for a pedestrian collision to, we’ll say, end poorly, you’re hearing tire noise more than engine noise unless the car is a performance car. EVs still make plenty of tire noise.

Can the airlines still just blame the weather for any delays and leave us screwed with no compensation?

The report caught the attention of the Orange County Auto Theft Task Force, which traced the vehicle to Rodgers’ home in Costa Mesa and had it under surveillance all morning.”
