When it came to Tesla or nothing for me, I chose nothing. Now I’m happily driving a non-Tesla EV.
Conservatives want the benefits of a social society but don’t want to pay for it. You could say they’re the true leeches on civilization.
The Model 3/Y buyers are mostly the exact same yuppie crowd that used to lease a 3 series. No surprise they drive the same way. The new Model 3 even has non-traditional turn signal to ensure they are similarly disused.
Musk is such a vile POS, I could never buy one of his MAGA mobiles. Mind you, douchebag Telsa driver isn’t helping at all. They’ve quickly taken the crown from BMW guy as the most reckless driver.
Driving a Tesla is now a political statement that only the worst people in the world want to make. "Hi everybody, I'm a neo-Nazi!" is not what you want your shoddily assembled EV to say to the world.
TESLA is rolling out a fix for this. New customers can sign up for a neural chip implant, which will allow their Tesla to interface with their brain directly and display all its production flaws and faults. Then, you can opt for the chip to trigger a partial lobotomy which helps you forget about the problems, or you…
Except, this isn’t some mechanical issue hidden by engine components, or things that happen as a result of use - these are a delivery checklist of things you need to look at immediately upon delivery of the car. (Think walking around a rental car marking all the scrapes and dings when you pickup it up at the airport.)…
And yet the ‘18 Model S that my friend bought was significantly worse than the already terrible ‘12 he had. The 3 and Y his husband had were terrible too. They very happily own a pair of Ford Mach-Es now.
That was, indeed, the problem. But those of us who hate misogyny yet also identify as cis men were told in no uncertain terms that our ho-hum or negative reactions were inherently sexist. It was the worst fucking rhetoric no matter where you looked.
Shhhh. You’re interfering with the narrative.
The several women in Frozen Empire that bust ghosts might disagree with your final paragraph there.
I know there is a lot of disdain from EV owners especially for PHEVs because of the dual drivetrain, but they make a huge amount of sense. There are arguments about which is green, but set that aside. The real benefit is having the PHEV as the “first” car in any household. It can run on electric for most local…
how does the term homeless blame the individual? its a description not an accusation
The Tesla Model Y sold ~$400k in 2023 in the US and 1.2m around the world.
People want space at the $40-$50k price point. If Ford could sell a Maverick EV for $40k, and make an SUV based on the Maverick and sell it for $50k it would have a world beater. ~280-300 miles, AWD, and NACS.
Making a small Honda E will not sell…
Did they remember the price has to be small too?
Get a grip. BMW turn signal engineers manage to keep it together. Be more like them.
I’m really confused as to why Tesla hasn’t swept this competition. There are SO many of them on the road, and it’s a Model S, it’ll have vanity plates.
Yes, WE KNOW it does an acceleration trick. Yes, WE EXPECT you to use it as soon as we move left to pass you.
Anything with a crackle/pop tune. The most common offenders by me are BMW 3 series who just endlessly accelerate and slam on the brakes for maximum pop. Good amount of WRXs too. As an old man now, there seems to be a new scene in the WRX world where the ideal is to not have a clean and nice appearing car, but to have…
I disagree strongly; cost wont matter at all. I live in a red state, and they could give EVs away for free and these folks wouldn’t touch them. Everything’s symbolism in these parts — EVs signal “Democrat” here, and they wouldn’t be caught dead buying or doing anything that hinted they might support The Devil’s Party,…
