In my mind, Libertarians are just watered-down Anarchists, and as such they really don’t fit into the “Left-Right” dichotomy spectrum.

Across the United States, food service has become the sector with the most positions to fill.

Better GR than any of the movies by a long shot.

They brought Ghost Rider and his flaming ‘69 Dodge Charger into TV-reality:

Superior technologies don’t need bans on their predecessors to succeed. On a number of levels, even beyond infrastructure, gasoline-powered cars are still better. Until BEVs can charge in the ~2 minutes it takes to fill up a gas tank, they will be at a competitive disadvantage, as everyone doesn’t live in buildings

I think a lot of the (understandable) knee jerk opposition people have to calls to defund or abolish the police has to do with the misapprehension that police exist to protect individuals or that they are part of the mechanism for serving justice. Protection and justice are not what the police are for, no matter what

Obviously any clueless idiot can become a cop so firing these two cruel dummies would be no loss and actually might provide a cautionary tale for the less dense cops out there.

I honestly do not understand what y’all are on about here. I came to own a CVT after a lifetime of manuals and it’s been absolutely fine. It does everything I want it to do and I get decent gas mileage. It does what it’s supposed to do.

Why even have a ban at all? EVs are gaining traction, just forget the ban and focus on the charging networks. Emissions cut by a quarter or half is still amazing progress, (since you cowardly CEOs want to have everyone back in the office for some reason). Just keep making them better, mandate automakers have at least

They do add a CVT cooler. I will admit that the wilderness trim is really pushing a transmission that wasn’t make for this application.

The transmissions themselves- as a concept- are not bad. There are many different factors that come into play: Quality of the transmission. Whatever company Nissan uses makes shit CVTs. OTOH Subaru has been sticking these in cars since the 80's and theirs are pretty good.

BUT.... With ANY of these the absolute key to

Until there is a non-Tesla charging network that is as extensive as the Tesla one, then I would take everything about customer loyalty with a massive grain of salt.

This list is a joke.

About the Subaru...transmission aside, look at those gorgeous windows! You can actually see OUT of the car!

Hux just whines a lot and Phasma does literally nothing other than berate one stormtrooper and die a couple of times.

Agree they are not the same as wages, but total compensation is the actual cost to the employer. The union negotiated generous benefits which work out to about $40K per employee. Good for them if that’s what they wanted, but that is how they chose to divide up the total compensation. They could instead have chosen to

As long as insurance is for-profit, expect it to be expensive.

They wont, they just wont.  They COULD pool together and rent a drag strip or small track.  Iriwindale is ight there and there is another drag strip not far.  They could go a legal/safe route, but no they do it this way because they WANT to not because they have no other options.

Now playing

This list is irrelevant without any mention of The Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight (yeah baby!)

Just a few bad apples, right?
