Dear, GMC/Chevy, please make an SUV version of this. Thank you

It’s a little more complicated than that. Sure we could find homes for many of these people in Baltimore, for instance, but people shouldn’t have to move from California to Maryland to find a home.

“We need workers for our businesses!”

Seriously, does nobody here know about the legend.

she dives into the car

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Americans are, generally, extremely overworked and underpaid. People are justifiably angry and frustrated about that. And instead of directing that anger and frustration at corporations and political leaders from both parties, we are directing that at each other because

I mean, are any of those problems unique to EV’s? GM having crappy liftgate/tailgate handles is a punchline that predates this car by over a decade. It’s more damning for GM than it is a reason to forgive Tesla for similar issues. They still have the valid excuse of only doing this for like 15 years.

Sounds to me like making a modern BEV isn’t as easy as the Tesla haters like to claim. And maybe, just maybe, Tesla’s overall quality isn’t that bad after all...

the knee-jerk reaction to this is: “WTF bro you suck!!”... but its actually the best of all worlds...  all of the other suggestions seem well-intentioned and ‘fair’ but would be a nightmare to implement. tracking mileage? individually measuring GVW?? are you fucking kidding me, that’s just going to be a mess.

never in a million years.  cause you know to be able to get the mileage youve driven theyll wanna use a gps device to measure it and they certainly have no business knowing where im driving.

How about do it by GVWR.  The weight more than anything is the damaging part of the roads.  Incentivizing OEM’s to get lighter seems like a good move.  Also, moving people out of giant bro trucks seems like it might make sense.

Oh buddy... you just moved to the absolute worst place to have a car. Get a shitbox. Something that looks like you have no money. Like a 2000 Camry. That neighborhood has one of the highest insurance rates in the country, so no way you want to pay $1000 a month on insurance on a new car. Save the money you save on car

The entire Vietnam episode.  That was the peak and everything since has been chasing that high.

So what year Altima was she driving?

I read that as subscription services, selling your data, or “pay-to-update” updates. Or all three.

When is New Jersey expected to make self-serve fast charging illegal?

The only downside is that I would have to be seen in this:

“If a good movie is successful, people will make bad movies." Is this a joke I'm missing?

Maintenance and landscaping have a hard time as well, as they often have to work around the vanlifers or deal with them when they’re angry, or worse. Like dealing with hidden bags of poop that get on them while their working.

Did you buy a large vehicle and make a public park your home? Will you help take care of said park? Come at me, but make it make sense
