Hey 1987 called and wants it problem back. That’s actually the big thing that stopped me from moving to San Francisco in the early 90s (man did I dodge a poop covered fentanyl filled bullet) Went out for a ride and got doored a few times at different places.

Wouldn’t it be more accurate if the title of the article was “Bay Area Criminals Assaulting Cyclists with Car Doors

Wow, second comment and it’s straight to being an asshole. Bravo.

Has anybody noticed police / firetruck lights? I think those are a road hazard ever since they went to the million watt LEDs. It’s just too much. Be bright, but no need to be painfully bright.

Aftermarket LED bulbs for standard headlights are a major issue as well. They scatter light horribly because they are not optimized for the reflectors, or even output only on one side. So the driver can’t see past 30 feet, and the surrounding cars have blinded drivers. BUT THE LUMENS BRO.

If I had a nickel for every time the inside of my skull got X-Rayed by an oncoming Acura MDX...

2nd gear: The US isn’t going to ban gas cars for a long time.

your mom’s car (this goes for anyone reading this comment)

Does it ever! I programmed in a trip for my Tesla’s Autodrive, and Google Maps was smart enough to tell me which one-way roads it would go the wrong way down, which red lights it would blow through, and even the intersection it would stop, shut down, and burst in to flames in!

How are so many companies still so far behind software wise?

Both springback and crumpling problems are the result of faster work hardening in stainless steel relative to carbon steel. The crumple zone thing is just a math problem. You can certainly account for decreased plastic energy dissipation in the structural design. But if boy wonder already had a product launch before

Maybe it will be powered by a 130hp motor to really get that DMC feel.

It boggles my mind that people still believe this thing will get approved by the DOT and manufactured in any meaningful way. Why anyone would support meme lord douchbag Elon is beyond me.

It’s almost like Elon Musk is a dumbass with the intellectual depth of a 9 year old and only knows about stainless steel because it’s what the DeLorean from Back To the Future was made out of and it would be le epic bacon if his meme truck was made out of the same thing.

Go into a Harley dealer looking to buy a LiveWire, and the sales staff will steer you away from those “candy-ass” electric bikes because they’re sure you really want a throbbing V-Twin between your legs.”

They’re going to have a very hard time shaking their reputation.

When every studio and publisher has created their own platform and we’re expected to buy a subscription to all of them? Yes.

Seriously, go find me a ride that DOESN’T have specific height, weight, etc. requirements to account for safety and just the simple fact of how the thing was designed.

I think the facts speak for themselves. The park doesnt have to accommodate for people of a certain size when it comes to safety. And dont be fooled, im 6'4" with a 42" waistline coming up on 300 lbs. If I saw this and was going to universal, you bet I would be working some of that weight off. Also, if this is a bad

“A 40” waist line is about a [women’s] size 20.”
