I think Dodge Journeys were like this too.  One of my neighbors was fiddling around with his wheel and stuff and I asked him what he was up to (I was out walking the dog).  When he said “battery” I’m sure my jaw hit the floor.  What an astoundingly bad idea.

Availibility”?!?!?! Wow.  You want how much and can’t handle 5th grade spelling words?

A Tsuru SE-R = Tsuru GSR. Back when I had a few B13s (among other SR20 vehicles over the years), the GSR was always popular.  Lots of Tsuru headlight conversions done on the 91-94 Sentras in the US.

Thanks.  Still bummed can’t be had on the manual.

It would be nice to show the actual 6MT in the press pics, though.

I don’t really get what N Grin Shift is or how it gets 10 hp but it’s not cool only for DCT.

I made  comment above about the Papa Johns franchise I was at.  This is spot on.  Our managers were salary and their “base” hours were 50+ if I recall.  It wasn’t uncommon for them to be pushing 60 hours.  Granted some of that was sit around time (2PM on a weekday tends to be pretty dang slow compared to a Saturday

It’s been nearly 20 years but I recall that as a driver at Papa Johns (local franchise that ran about 7-8 stores in our area), managers would get dinged on their metrics (and therefore bonus) if anybody went over 40. At 35 hours the computer would let them know somebody was approaching and to get them to wrap it up.

agree.  Interesting what happens when you NEED the paycheck.

Between MSC and Ilott, I think Ferrari has a probably one too many in the mix. And it feels like Gio would be the one pushed out. I think the only hope is that they prize some continuity going into next year, but if Ilott or MSC need to move (or be moved), I have to think they sacrifice Gio.

Just another solid driver

Agree.  And the fact that there’s video makes it all the more “repeatable”.  It’s not just some “this one time.....” story that gets embellished over time.  As the kids say, there’s receipts!

That’s an interesting take on Gunther.  I didn’t really see it that way, but I can appreciate the point.  I do not see them attracting a top talent to replace him if needed.  I’m sure plenty of people are interested and would jump at the chance to be a principal, though.  Just not sure if you’d get the best of the

Agree.  Does he stay one more to get a shot at the new car...basically just for fun.  I can imagine his immense experience could be helpful with a new car.  But I think Ferrari “controls” the Gio seat, so less likely they could push MSC there if Kimi is out.  Or I guess they could push Gio to make room.  I like Gio

Interesting to ponder: Gene sells to Mazepin....MSC bolts (whether he has it in his contract or Ferrari pulls him out)....who would take that second seat? Would they pick up another ride buyer or is there a rookie that would be willing to sacrifice his career to join that circus. I guess you can always say you’re a F1

Solid hangout show with good people.  I think it was just a little too light on the laughs.

Yah, it was fine. I enjoyed it well enough.

yup.  all those compromises could have been offset by either a 6MT or at least the extra power from a V6.  But this package just didn’t hit the mark and sadly becomes another point of evidence for the “americans won’t buy wagons” argument.  We won’t buy terrible wagons, but we’ll buy wagons!

The TSX wagon we got was a 6MT away from greatness. Or at least auto V6. The auto 4 cyl we got was the lamest configuration :(

forget just not being friends...I’m surprised this person wasn’t murdered

yup. or if it’s a tough angle that would then require you to stop, back up, etc. Unless parking is crazy busy, I’d rather spend another minute looking for a spot than jump through hoops.

I’m a huge fan of just parking far away and avoiding all this nonsense.  Unfortunately with kids and/or weather (Cleveland gets cold
