Yup - but the B13 is a 1990 model.  I’m not trying to nit pick, but that gen Sentra should be on a best of the 90s list.

Good picks, but the classic SE-R was 91-94.

That would be good.

No question some weirdo record like that would be amazing. I don’t know if he can go a full season, but something like “most DNFs to open a career” or something like that. I think a super early exit like Bahrain isn’t too likely to be streak-worthy, but we could certainly be in for stuff like “# of races needed to

Finishing the race would be a gotdang miracle. I think if he can finish a few race laps....maybe even get to the pit window, that’s a win for him/Haas at this point.

Hot Sauce Williams is excellent!

Not bad at all.  Lots of miles (but to be expected).

+1 for Previa love.  I’m not sure I’d still suggest one now, but a $4500 minivan would eat up the miles and plenty of space for sleeping as needed.  It’s gonna be probably one gen newer than a Previa (so we’re talking early 00s probably to get that price point...but it’d be a V6 at least).

Yes! Solid pick.  I’d do one of these over a panther for sure.  Or a similarly large GM sedan from that era.  Eat up the miles in comfort and anonymity.  Godforbid anything breaks, every mechanic and parts store in the US can help you.  Highway cruising in one of these or a Honda Fit?  Come on now.

Combined with the rear hatch glass that opened, the Matrix was awesome.  I miss ours.  Had we sprung for the XRS as newlyweds, we might still have that car! The XR was fine, but I eventually wanted something a little quicker.

Yes!  I just made a post too.  So great!

Mazda had those HVAC vents that would “sway”.  Those were outstanding and it seemed like such a relatively simple thing that wouldn’t have added a lot of cost or complexity (i.e., parts to break).  Man I loved those as a kid!

Agree.  A more recent civic-based smaller car is needed for sure for Acura.  And yes, tossing in the MT would IMMEDIATELY give it a little credibility.  They’ve already got one just sitting there.  DO IT!  Make it a special order or whatever, but do it!

Good to know.  I’m not (and hopefully never will be) upside down on any of my vehicles.

All excellent points. One mitigation would be if they throw out the gubment money as incentive, would that entice more makers to get into the market (and/or existing makers to up their capacity)? Knowing that they have a somewhat “guaranteed” customer base who just entered the market thanks to this incentive.

That makes sense. I can see both sides of how it could “logically” be handled, but that obviously doesn’t square exactly with what an insurance policy permits.

It sounds like the angle would need to be whatever you’re upside down by kind of becomes your target for the additional settlement.

checks out

my 1984 toyota van has 95hp. yes, extremely slow ride :)

Are we sure this wasn’t Joe Walsh making sure his Maserati could still go 185?

Came here for this.  Thank you.
