Sure, they tried to impeach Clinton, but they nobody started the first session on day one by publicly stating in front the press and god and everybody that they were going to be obstructionist assholes and not let one single thing pass because fuck Obama. Dude said it straight up: We are going to stand in his way on

Well, if you’re right, then I’d have to dial back my painting of conservatives as a monolithic block of despicable racist, homophobic, misogynist, bigoted bigots.

Honestly, I’m a single person who gets their healthcare subsidized through my employer. I pay very little for healthcare. I’d be ok if the txes equaled a bit more. That would also mean that when something happens I’m not going to go bankrupt. I had a UTI this summer that cost me over 300 bucks even on my insurance at

Taxation would go up but overall cost per capita would be drastically reduced.

I can’t wait to do the math, if there is a middle class tax increase. Because if the additional taxes I have to pay are less than my medical premiums, and also everyone gets healthcare coverage, then it’s worth every penny.

You say her ideas are pragmatic, but all I hear is that her ideas are easier than they are good.

2016 - 1993 = 25?

i feel like it was less about her changing her position and more about her clearly understanding his position on healthcare and then subsequently instructing her daughter to lie about about it

There’s also the employer side. Yes private citizens will no longer pay premiums, but employers no longer would either as well, which is a huge number, a number which will have to be transferred to higher wages for a lot of people since wages are kept down by health care is considered a big part of compensation.

I’ll be voting for Sanders in the primaries, and hopefully beyond, but is a 25 year old note really that much of a smoking gun?

Maybe someone can enlighten me, but doesn’t a universal health care system work in pretty much every industrialized nation where it exists? You might be stuck with a doctor you don’t like, you might have to wait for a while to see a doctor, but basic care should be an improvement in 100% of cases compared to the US

Hey, thanks for stepping up the coverage of the democrats. In the beginning when Sanders announced, you guys didn’t give him much (and what coverage there was was negative), but after the first few months, it’s improved greatly, and you guys have been calling them both out when need be.

She really is a bad campaigner - she uses right wing-like tactics and its so offputting to a lot of dems. This is exactly why she lost against Obama. Attacks don’t get votes on the liberal side.

What a bizzaro statement from Chelsea. Thank god the primaries will be over in a few months.

She forgets sometimes. It’s hard to keep playing the role of Democrat, when in your heart you’re really a centrist Republican.

a) i feel like i remember him saying already that yes, he would probably have to raise taxes slightly for everyone?

A single-payer system would require large tax increases; it would also mean that nobody would pay for private insurance anymore.

*hillary has difficulty winning the left flank of the democratic party*

This is a spectacular fuck up on the Clinton campaign’s part. Way to alienate undecided democrats.
