So... your problem is that this isn't an accurate portrayal of the myth of Hercules? Isn't that the defining characteristic of a Hercules movie?

Actually, at least 7 or 8 people have mentioned it.

As far as I can tell, it's somewhere between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. A decade is plenty of time to get out there. For instance, it only took the Cassini probe roughly 7 years to reach Saturn.

Are you sure? I thought it was a rhinoceros, that was riding on a lion, which was riding on an elephant. Or was that a Greek myth?

My grandfather was the first in his neighborhood to have this TV as well. He also hung it from the ceiling.

Thank you for not writing "LOL".

I think education and awareness works to combat ignorance much faster, and much more permanently. I also think that education did more to make racist attitudes a taboo than belittlement ever did.

Well said, Streetlight. It should also be noted that while many here have advocated combatting ignorance, many have failed to realize that the denigration of other's beliefs is a surefire way to insure that they hold on to those beliefs that much more. Ridicule and scorn only seeks to prop up those who already

I believe he was showing examples of other people's statements, and the "facts" therein do not reflect his own beliefs.

I agree with many of the things you are saying, but your approach could use some work. You may think that ridicule and an "attack on all fronts" might be the way to bring down the creationist movement, but I disagree. Insulting a person's most cherished and deeply held beliefs is only going to make that person cling

There are two way to debate the whole ID subject- one that is constructive, and one that isn't. Patrick Farley's original post was not an attempt at constructive dialogue. It was dripping with sarcasm. It was taunting and belittling. There's a lot of people defending it on the basis that creationism distorts facts

Those are chest hairs. Didn't you realize these were nudes?

John Connor will start the resistance with a promising beginning, but then Phil Collins will take over and it will suck after that.

Oh, I wouldn't blame the shuttle program. There were a lot of factors that contributed to the decline of the US space program. The main national drive behind the Apollo program was to stick it to the Soviets, and once we did, people started to wonder why we kept spending money on this program. The public has never

I imagine it must be cheaper. It's not mired with government bureaucracy.

The part that gave me vertigo was when they were putting the parachutes on. Once they did that, it went away. Magic backpacks work for 3rd parties as well, I suppose.

Most of the shots were from cameras mounted on the base jumpers themselves or held by them with some sort of boom. There were a couple of shots from a 3rd person, who you can see at around 7:43. The rest were aerial shots, either shot with a helicopter or drone. Whether it was a drone or full size chopper can't be
