It was a fun, if chunky, system. Although, if I’m being honest the only game I can actually remember was a Star Trek game. The peripherals were kind of fun to collect. Plus the TV tuner did get me noticed by an older girl on the band bus. I like to think we connected that late night as we watched David Letterman on…
Sadly, I don’t. I switched a couple years ago so I am completely out of the loop in regards to iOS apps.
And if you work for a studio with 200 employees you can’t possibly work on the next game in a popular series AND port one of the best selling games of all time to another console at the same time without delaying said future game. You also can’t possibly contract out that task. These things are greedy and lazy.
In a general sense it’s far superior. It’s horrible for most games but it is functional and you don’t have any peripherals to deal with. But if I had to choose one method for everything, it would be a touchscreen. Assuming games were built around it. Otherwise I’d stop playing video games.
When I got my first Android phone with native swipe texting, it was a revelation. The predictive part of it is incredibly smart...most of the time. It seems to struggle with short words, which makes sense. But the more you use it the better it seems to get. It generally knows now when I intend to use an, the, of...you…
Just the other day I was joking with a friend about this. I used to catch myself spelling words out, in my head, in multi-tap format. Not for any real reason...reading documents, talking or thinking to myself...completely unbidden. It still happens every now and again.
I think I accidentally dumped my reply but I’m not sure. If you get two replies in a row from me, that’s why.
I like the Nissan Juke. It seems like a fun car and I like the way it looks. I also like the Cube but, between the two, I’d probably take the Juke.
Multiple people are saying it’s fantastic so I’m looking forward to watching it.
I honestly don’t know. After recent news about EDF and talking about it with a couple friends over dinner, I might spend a little time playing that. But I also updated my PS3 and charged the controller in anticipation of finishing Yakuza 5.
That’s great to hear. I haven’t watched a ton of Korean films yet but I’ve been really impressed with the ones I’ve seen. I might just try and swing that suggestion the next time I cook dinner for my friends.
Is Train to Busan good? I keep meaning to watch it but I have to be in a certain mood to want to see movies like that.
New Forza and new Gran Turismo within two weeks of each other? That’s not fair. Really though, the whole end of year is going to be tough on the wallet but it’s hard to find the desire to complain about an abundance of games to look forward to.
For a trailer for a fake show, the production is pretty good. They even got actors to lend their voices to it.
I don’t have a hard time believing that. I haven’t heard anything that could even be construed as threatening but on a couple occasions I’ve had the warranty pushed hard. Years ago, sure, but you don’t forget it all the same.
“That’s a nice Switch. It’d be a shame if something unfortunate were to happen to it. Strange things tend to happen in the middle of the night, Mr. Sandrock. It’s dark and people have...accidents.”
Ooh...limited ammunition? I really don’t know how I feel about that. On one hand, that is a wild departure and probably means I won’t be leveling an entire city. On the other, changes to the mechanics occasionally works out well for offshoots of an established series. I could never tire of EDF but trying something new…
