There is a free membership but, unless something has changed, some shows are locked behind the paid membership. I don’t think it’s many shows but a couple of my favorites are, iirc. Plus the other limitations of the free side.

If you have a good connection, you can stream a whole shit load of PS3 games to your PS4. Some games you’ll be able to download but the streaming service is, more or less, the entire PS3 catalog. It’s not the best option as far as playability goes but it opens up tons of games to you at the cost of a subscription fee.
