Just learn to tuck and roll when you hop off. We’re moving pretty fast after all.

Now that’s just adorable and gimmicky...and brave as hell. Speaking of real life Chun-Li, wasn’t there a personal trainer with incredible thighs that sort of accidentally cosplayed as the character a little while back?

Yeah there is that. It’s the argument I used to get from friends and family when playing Guitar Hero. “If you spent the time learning a guitar that you spend with that game, you’d be amazing.” Considering how long the wait usually is, I could probably attain a passable understanding of Japanese in the intervening time

The biggest problem with that is that it’s not out yet. Plus, as far as I’m aware, they haven’t released a Yakuza game with English subs unless it’s been localized for Western markets. I have no desire to play a game that I can’t understand.

Now playing

We don’t talk about that anymore. It got pretty dark...

I didn’t watch that roast but I get the impression that Martha Stewart would be vicious. She wouldn’t prepare anything before hand. She would simply show up, spend the first 10 seconds analyzing the person to be roasted, and spend the rest of her time honing in on every single insecurity they might have in her

Judging by the few people I’ve known that are from or live in NYC or New Jersey, it’s commonly said there at least.

Honestly, I made myself a little sad. Then I remembered that Yakuza 0 is only a few months off! Yakuza Kiwami might happen as well so there’s that! And personally, it gives me a chance to finish Yakuza 5. Hope that makes up for it.

I can’t wait to play this in a few years or possibly never!

Some replies are saying it’s Yakuza but it’s not quite there for me in terms of what it lets you do. It’s more the simple things like walking over grass or hopping over a railing that were still restricted in 5 that keeps it from being that. I can accept the lack of rampant mayhem and car stealing but the little

I had the macarena going through my head. Heeeey aquila!

I hope you enjoy it because SS2 definitely worked for me as a horror game.

This makes me want to replay one of my all time favs, System Shock 2. I feel like it did weapon degradation well, at least as far as engendering a feeling of dread. I don’t remember feeling like it was tedious. But my memories of it are quite old so I’m not sure if I’d feel the same as I once did.

Ooh. I haven’t played it so I know very little about the specifics of Titanfall but, from what little I do know, I can imagine a potentially very fun game emerging from a combination of the two.

Oh my god are you making a new Mechwarrior Mercenaries game?

It took me a little while to convince myself that I actually despised Clicker Heroes. I kept convincing myself that I’d get to a point where I would feel like I accomplished what I wanted and could happily quit. The day I realized that would never happen and I was lying to myself was just about the most liberating

In my capacity as your unofficial adviser, I can’t recommend this course of action.

What meowmix said. Jezebel also wrote a similar article about how to talk to a woman who is in dire need of a shit. And yeah, the source of the parody is awful.

I’m not sure I can imagine a more intimidating game for tons of new/free players to get into. I’d compare it to Dwarf Fortress but that’s not an entirely accurate comparison.

Maybe I have a soft spot for it because that’s what I grew up with but I still prefer the style of animation from the 80s and 90s...Japanese and Western. I like tons of modern shows but the style of older stuff grabs me. Something like Gundam Unicorn is wonderful to me as it’s sort of a “best of both worlds” affair.
