God damn respect to whoever figured out they could take something that wouldn’t sell for $19.95 at Spencer’s gift and rebrand it at three quarters of one million US dollars and sell 30 of them.

In his defense, the officer was probably just on edge from being surrounded by so many giant, successful, black men.

I can’t think of a dominant team who’s reign ended as brutally and as thoroughly as the Warriors. Like, the team taking the floor next year will only have a passing resemblance to this year’s team and there is no young phenom waiting on their bench to be the next Durant or Thompson. It’s gonna be strange.

“The cop” is a pretty evergreen response too

“Draymond Green” is always the correct answer to this question.

Now we know what it takes for a black man not to get shot by a cop—19,000 witnesses.

Did he shout “Do you know who I am?!”

The only thing that kept the Warriors going through those long lean years in the late-90's and 2000's was their devoted fanbase even when the team sucked.

“You mean we have a chance to sign not one, but TWO players with turn ACLs????? Get them!”

Hey now, he hasn’t signed with the Knicks yet.

Yeah it’s too bad he died.

I mean, he’s not dead

It’s a genuinely sad way to end the Warriors’ time in Oakland. It’s too bad they decided to adopt Silicon Valley’s mantra of “move fast and break things” at just the wrong time.

Honestly, it would not surprise me at all to learn that Steve Kerr had told them to go ahead and call a timeout if they got an offensive rebound or had a tie-up or loose ball scramble.

You’re right. And as someone else pointed out in the comments, Steve Kerr and the other two players on the floor were also screaming for a timeout to get the tech, too. But it’s nice to pretend.

Come on, be fair. If he didn’t call the timeout and get the technical, he would’ve given his team even less chance of winning. The only way the Warriors could extend the game was by getting the technical.

The place has really gone to shit since Bob McNair died.”

Is this what happens when the prison guards run the asylum?

That is an incredibly annoying graphic, as if solar cells and batteries just magically appear out of nothing and don’t require mining, manufacturing, distribution and setup. Not to mention upkeep and replacement.

Right... I’m going to be “that guy” because I spoke to both Toyota and Hyundai about this earlier today. They haven’t stopped sales of Mirai and Nexo, they’re stopped *deliveries* because it’s not possible to refuel them due to all the stations in Norway being closed whilst they work out what happened.
